Wanna do DoA SC

Alright, so basically, I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanna do this and I want to do this right. This should be fun, safe (if you know what ur doing) and reaaaally profitable (that's right, I only think about money).

Dont give me the steroidway or normal party thing because SC means SPEED clear. It's the same as UWSC: u dont run steroidway in UW (do you?).

Besides, every Elite PvE Guild does it (not really, only the leetest ones).

So, as an officer, I would like to organize an 8-man party setup for DoA SC. And we don't only need 8 people, we need 8 people that know what they are doing, so I suggest we all read some guides first (the tanks should read them more carefully).

I made a list below where I'll keep the names of the people that are able to do each of the jobs, so please apply for the jobs that you think you could do. The builds below are considered "meta" but you can bring anything you want as long as the utility is the same. Also, try to inform yourself as well as you can about the job you are trying to run before we do the real thing.

The List:

1 x Sliver Tank: Zhoul or George
1 x Recall Tank: Zhoul or George
2 x FoCers: Tom and Xenos
1 x VoR Cryer: Jim or ...
1 x E-Surge DF: Jim or ...
1 x UA: Yinyang
1 x Spirit Bonder: Ben

I agree totally Zhoul, count me in.
I'll play as a bonder, cryer and if my perma is there... I'll stick to the ER stuff anyway.

Although im going to stress that DoA SC needs efficient tanking on choke points and split second spking by the CoP'ers.

In a sc? No probably not.
Unless one of the builds is a pure-bonding build.. in which case... as a last resort i would say yes

Sounds like a good time and good money. I can definitly go UA and MIGHT be able to go Spirit Bonder, but dont rely on me if your looking for Spirit Bonder cause its a big might.

The only suitable char of mine there is my ele - so I could run one of the ele builds.
Hell, I'm sure you could get a necro to fit that role to, but I wouldn't try it.

I can play either tank i suppose, might need to get a little bit of practise in first tho

I went to the discussion thread (PvX Wiki) and they said it is still doable with some minor modifications. Wait for build update?

Waiting would be good.

As it stands we only have 1 mes there anyway (yes i know cop got analy raped), im pretty sure that mesmer will still play a major part in any SC build and i know we have guild members powering through the game with mes to be able to take part.

This is unfortunate timing but hardly unexpected, lets see what the new "meta" turns out to be.

PvX is slow in getting anything good. Looks like the old builds still work, but they're just slower.

Somewhat predictably, I've seen a variation that uses a N/Me with A-Echo + FoC.

Well it's ANets fault. Don't bother trying to call it anything else.

It's not as though Focker is bad or anything. Hell, there are people called Focker.

I want to play as the focker! I mean FoC-er..... Gah.

But of course... if you can only get 4 people togeether



The only downside beign that if 3 people leave and you run into a big mob...

Nah, i was Imba.
My heroes were MB and Healer
Mol was MoP
JJ was Earthshaker
G was 100b
Mols Heroes were another Mb/Prot Hybrid
and a OoP/DF w/Heal Party.

Two MBs? What was the minion count like during the run?
